About Jim Keogh...
Jim Keogh introduced PC programming nationally in his Popular Electronics Magazine’s programmer Notebook column in 1982 four years after Apple Computer started in a garage. Keogh was a team member who built one of the first Windows applications by a Wall Street firm that was featured by Bill Gates in 1986. He wrote one of the first books on how to solve the Y2K crisis that required the rewrite of programs that controlled governments and business worldwide. Keogh developed and chaired the E-Commerce Technology track of study at Columbia University. Keogh appeared on CNN, Fox GoodDay New York, NBC Weekend Today in New York, ABC World Wide Business Report. He is the former educational columnist for The Record, New Jersey’s second largest daily newspaper. Keogh expanding interested in healthcare and healthcare technology resulted in development of the Demystified nursing series for McGraw Hill. He has authored more than 100 books published by leading publishers sold internationally and translated into 10 languages. Thirty-three of them are on nursing. Keogh holds a doctorate in nursing and is an assistant professor at New York University and on the faculty of Saint Peter’s University.
